Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman HE Mohamed bin Twar Al-Kuwari met on Sunday with a trade delegation from Mali led by Fatoumata Batouly Niane, Chief Executive Officer of Touly’s Enterprise.

The meeting touched on the investment opportunities available in Mali in a number of projects to promote them among Qatari investors willing to invest in Mali.

Addressing the meeting, HE Mohamed bin Twar Al-Kuwari said that Qatar Chamber welcomes the visiting delegation, noting that the investment opportunities offered during the meeting attract Qatari investors and correspond with the Qatari interest in boosting foreign investments with the framework of the economic diversification strategy.

Al-Kuwari affirmed the Chamber’s readiness to promote these opportunities among QC members to urge them invest in Mali, stressing that Qatari investors are interested in investment climate in Mali.

HE also expressed the Chamber’s welcome to strengthen cooperation with the Malian side, especially that there is a memorandum of understanding signed between Qatari and Malian chambers, calling to activate it to enhance cooperation between the private sectors.

During the meeting, the Malian delegation reviewed the investment opportunities available in Mali which include 13 projects in Arab glue, green energy, infrastructure and building malls, sport club and hospitals, as well as industrial projects, civil development, transport, waste management and human development and building a bridge in the Malian capital.

Le premier vice-président de la Chambre du Qatar, SE Mohamed bin Twar Al-Kuwari, a rencontré dimanche une délégation commerciale du Mali conduite par Fatoumata Batouly Niane, directrice générale de Touly's Enterprise.
S'adressant à la réunion, SE Mohamed bin Twar Al-Kuwari a déclaré que la Chambre du Qatar souhaitait la bienvenue à la délégation en visite, notant que les opportunités d'investissement offertes lors de la réunion attirent les investisseurs qataris et correspondent à l'intérêt du Qatar à stimuler les investissements étrangers dans le cadre de la stratégie de diversification économique.

Al-Kuwari a affirmé que la Chambre était prête à promouvoir ces opportunités auprès des membres du QC pour les inciter à investir au Mali, soulignant que les investisseurs qataris sont intéressés par le climat d'investissement au Mali.

SE a également exprimé la bienvenue de la Chambre au renforcement de la coopération avec la partie malienne, en particulier qu'il existe un protocole d'accord signé entre les chambres qatarie et malienne, appelant à l'activer pour renforcer la coopération entre les secteurs privés.

Au cours de la réunion, la délégation malienne a passé en revue les opportunités d'investissement disponibles au Mali qui comprennent 13 projets dans la colle arabe, l'énergie verte, les infrastructures et la construction de centres commerciaux, de clubs de sport et d'hôpitaux, ainsi que des projets industriels, de développement civil, de transport, de déchets gestion et développement humain et construction d'un pont dans la capitale malienne.
